    An awesome read - particularly (a) the kid’s ingenuity in locating the radioactive material he required; (b) the stupidity of his parents, who had no knowledge of or interest in his activities; and (c) the sheer Gump-ness (as in Forrest) of the guy. This was all inspired by his desire to become an Eagle Scout - most kids glue some pin pong balls together to make a model of a molecule for their Atomic Energy badge, whereas our hero… (go read the book)
