What you want, when you want it

It?’s always frustrating when you can?’t get what you want, when you want. Fast food restaurants have embraced this type of thinking and are doing a pretty good job of it. With ability to do anything to what you order just to make it perfect, it?’s set an expectation with me that I can get this anywhere but it?’s far from the case.

Recently at the movie?’s, I tried to modify my combo slightly by upsizing one of the drinks and changing one of the ice creams for a different kind (sweet sweet scoop). I was told this couldn?’t happen because it will ?"make the stocktake figures wrong?".

It frustrated me to here that I couldn?’t get what I want because of their internal stocktake, that obviously I didn?’t care about.

What I was asking for could be deemed a bit unreasonable a couple of years ago, but those on their game have made this sort of demand reasonable.

So on the web ? is your system accommodating these kinds of demands? There are many excellent sites around that are setting high expectations with your customers and it?’s an important part of good customer service to fulfil and exceed these expectations online.
