Fuzzwich – a sweet new animation tool

Posted by Gareth Price June 13th, 2008

Thanks to @elliotjaystocks for the heads up on Fuzzwich’s upcoming Animator software. It’s looks fantastic – the process lends itself almost entirely to fun - when was the last time anyone said that about Flash?

Interesting that as Flash has moved into basically a programming environment a big hole has opened in the market place for smaller “WYSIWYG” animation platforms. Though, I’m guessing Fuzzwich will be leveraging built-in encoding to SWF or FLV (both parts of Flash) to deploy the finished animation online.

Check out the demo below and there’s a screencast introduction on Vimeo too.

    Hi all,

Glad that you’re all as excited about the Animator as we are! We’re still a few of months out from a beta for the Animator, but in the meantime we have re-launched Minivid for everyone to play around with. http://www.fuzzwich.com/minivids

I’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts, so feel free to send me an email
